I got a hunch brinker and those hustlers selling miracle cures, vitamins, and other supplements have a few things in common. They are smooth talkers that are good at getting peoples attention. They are excellent at getting desperate folks to swallow the brand of kool-aid they are selling.

It is understandable for someone that has been told to get their affairs in order and take a last vacation would have nothing to lose by trying to extend their life by taking the latest miracle cure.

By the same token someone that has over spent too long or gotten bad performance on their investments might be desperate enough to try to time the market. Who knows once in a blue moon one or two might actually be better off. Even our pal dija agrees market timing is risky when he says “The thing to do with people like brinker, Jimmy Rogers and other experts is to realize that they are ALL going to be wrong fairly often, and make your own final decisions based upon many factors.”

P.T. Barnum would sure be proud of old bob.
