Saddam was no threat to us, and Bush lied the entire time in the lead-up to the war. Six months before his invasion, the CIA secretly told him Saddam hadn't had WMD in ten years. Bush didn't care. He went ahead with it anyway, and lied to the public and congress the whole time.
