Nortel's GSM Business

Does Nortel make standalone GSM (non-wCDMA) infra?

Yes they do, although it does not contribute a major share of their business. Nortel spun their UMTS RAN business but not the UMTS CN business or the GSM business. Apparently L'Alcatel wasn't interested in the GSM business.

In 2005 Dell'Oro credited Nortel with 7% revenue share of GSM infra. I haven't seen a 2006 number, although Dell'Oro reported that Ericsson, Nokia, and Siemens held over 70% GSM infra revenue share in 2006.

I suppose, but what are they paying?
