Good post. It helps to be reminded of the value of surface exploration rather than drilling too soon -- which is a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack with a needle! The confusion With CKG's PR arose because of Stockwatch's stupid practice of adding their own headline to a PR -- in this case an incorrect headline.

Yes, Eric, I agree with Howy, good post! For an experienced, honest, professional, your preference for channel samples is valid IMO. However:

"Channels are often taken by accident or design where it looks rich."

That is when, like Tom, I prefer the drill. Unless some one is drilling down dip, the ability of one to select an intersection where it "looks rich" is very limited.
