"they're claiming 5+ hours for this year with "hawk" family of processors. anyone knows what this is ?" No. They have mentioned a mobile processor, but this is the most information we have seen. Still, if you take a two core Barcelona, cut the FPUs in half, maybe do a little tweaking with low power transistors in various places, then you'd have a pretty fine mobile processor with all the power management features Barcelona has. Oh, they'd probably also allow for putting one core asleep, unlike Barcelona with I believe only does it in pairs.
