Here are instructions to check on claim availability. Go to this web site: geocommunicator.gov In the middle of the text is a link to LR2000. Click on it. You will see a BLM page and right under the title there are different options. Click on Reports. The next page is shaded blue but under the mining portion you should see Pub MC Geo Report. Click on it. Another blue shaded page. Check the boxes for Mer Twp Rng* and Geo State. and click on the select criteria box. Now click on each box that says set. Select Arizona, Active or closed. The meridian code is 14. When you enter the Twp and Rng, put a zero (0) in front of the actual number. ie for Twp 2 you enter 002 for Twp 20 you enter 020. Check any in the second box and enter NSEW in the last box. Then click add to mtr. When you are done with each of these close the criteria box. Don't forget the last one for geo state. Next click run report and wait. Note: Pop-ups can't be blocked or it won't work Good Luck
