Hi 8bits - I'm looking at the silver price graph, which has the gold silver ratio in dark yellow (or light orange, depending on how I tilt my laptop.)

The major thing I notice about the ratio is the incredible volitility since the industrial revolution about 1850 or so. This was also the time of the California gold rush, and then the Comstock silver lode in Nevada.

It does not look to me like there is central trend or tendency, but just TJs friend, volitility.
