I'm just pointing out what it means for Intel and AMD to have a different number of shares outstanding.

The share prices everyone sees listed are Intel $19 and AMD $14 but that's misleading because there are a lot more Intel shares out there than AMD shares - 1 "share" of Intel gets you a lot less of the company than 1 "share" of AMD does.

If you control for the number of shares, the relative stock price is $110 vs. $8 (market cap).
