Last nite, I watched a little of Anderson Cooper. They had this special on about Iraq and what was happening to the Sunni population. A Sunni congressman had been hearing that Sunnis have been thrown in jail with no trial and not told what crime has been committed, and then tortured, sometimes for years. So finally he went to investigate. What he found was disgusting......torture beyond belief......torture very similar to what happened under Saddam. The Sunni congressman alerted the press. Soon after, ten of his relatives were found dead. His immediate family is under military guard and he has a military escort wherever he goes. He believes there are prisons like that all over Iraq. And I am convinced we still are getting only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the attrocities perpetrated in Iraq. That's why it freaks me out when Americans get captured by these crazed idiots.
