Note that neither you nor, the Dems, or the Bushies care what the people of Iraq want. What the Washington political class and the Israel lobby want is far more important.

And as long as this kind of imperial logic dominates both major parties, US troops will be killing and dying overseas for generations whoever is elected in 2008 -- at least until foreign creditors finally pull the plug.
