"I just looked liberal up in the dictionary. Yes, I'm a liberal." Only in the US does the word "liberal" has the connotations that it has picked up over the past few decades.

That's why early on I announced on this thread that I was proud to be a liberal. Its rather amazing how its been turned into something pretty negative. Sign of the times?
