True, like the Eternal War On Drugs

That also keeps loads of people employed: cops, guards, drug-dealers, drug-smugglers, politicians, media pundits. Without it the price of drugs would collapse and these people would have to look around for alternative employment. That might be dangerous. These folks tend to be armed.

We need more such wars!
