I wonder if that's (the VP slot) Newt's plan. The leading Republican candidates are blue-state Republicans who will need to make assurances to conservatives and will be looking for a known conservative from somewhere else to balance the ticket. Newt would balance Romney best imo.

Looked for the interview on their web site and couldn't find it.

He would make a great President for that matter.........he's absolutely brilliant......but he has a lot of enemies. I'm hoping he gets into the race and has a chance to debate the other candidates.

He'd clean their clocks.

I doubt it will happen though.
