Wilson called everybody he could to flog his Niger story, telling them his wife was a WMD analyst at the CIA to boost his credibility. That includes editors at the WaPo and the NYT and Nicholas Kristoff, certainly.

1. She was covert which is why the CIA wanted an investigation in the first place. If she wasn't covert there was no need to investigate and get the Justice Dept in on it.

2. She had no authority to send anyone anywhere.

These facts are simply overlooked by the likes of Nadine who is getting more delusional and shrill by the post.

And Cheney called the trip to Niger a "junket", who wouldn't want to go to a country where they force children to be soldiers in the militias, and everyone's killing one another, no doubt they also have a great affection for Americans!

Yeah, Nadine, sure...great story. Get Armitage, Rove, Scooter and Cheney in front of Congress under oath. Let's hear their "stories".

Lot of good that would do. They learned to lie in unison a long time ago.
