Ummm .. you separate them to prevent pollination. You keep the female unfertilized as long as possible. The female continues production of THC while unfertilized.

Sex separation provides no gain for fiber production.
The fiber doesn't degrade in the riper of the two. Harvest of both would take place when the second was ready.
