Part of the equation was that the monarch/dictator is hated by the people they rule over - an indication that he is ruling in his own interest and not the people's. And sure, in time, all those that meet the criterion I listed should be forcibly overturned, IMO.

Burma is the easiest, most obvious example.

I'm not saying the US should suddenly declare war on 35 nations around the planet tomorrow.

My point is simply I support the idea of forcibly removing authoritarian regimes that are actively worsening the lives of the population that they rule over. The answer of HOW to go about doing that is a very complicated, detailed question, but my point is I support that general policy. It's not that complicated.
