I have never seen this said, but IMHO if the USA were to pull out of Iraq now they could very well become a Haiti like country. With all the violence who is going to invest in the country, who is going to guard the oil pipelines and keep the equipment working? If that were to happen I can very easily see it become a terrorist haven of the very worst sort. jdn

couple points...

1.whose poll and how many polled?

2. they have no confidence in us, but they don't want us to leave...sound like kerry's kousins...all flipfloppers?

and last but not least:

3.In Baghdad, the poll showed 100 percent said U.S. and other foreign forces had done a bad job in Iraq, opposed the presence of U.S.-led forces and said the presence of U.S. forces was making security in the country worse.

BULLCRAP POLL. must have come from the newyorkslimsaljazeera funny pages.
