We chose the resort to start at by the quality of the instructors. I may not have known enough to specify what was best for my kids. As soon as the lesson was over I began to show them how to ski properly.

I was really upset at my skill degradation, I cannot ski like my boots are bungied together.

The big problem was when my daughter got freaked out and ran till she hit powder.

Oh, and my son was upset because he didn't get poles yet. I fell twice the second day, both times because of misplacing my poles. If they enjoy it, then I can take them back.

I choose Colorado because it is convenient from the Great Plains.
