I think you should limit it to 10 not 4

If it is too much work with the trades and you want it about picking stocks and not trading on some silly rules that don't apply in real life, then make it so what you buy you are stuck with. You could let people short so they can make market neutral portfolios if they want... but one portfolio with no changes is fine with me.

I'd rather see that rather than a set of complex rules that the one who figures out how to take advantage of the rules wins.

How about max 5 and sell all or none of any single stock?
Ted may disagree while that would simplify his transactions but limit his creativity ;)

Still agree with your statements but 5 seems to me like a good compromise based on some inputs.

I would ask Taro to add this idea to the header, but he's from Sweden and I imagine will add something close to this idea but not exactly it to the header....

He will mandate that everyone buy ERIC in the contest as well as their personal accounts<G>.
