Crippled Nokia N75 to launch in April? Could we expect anything less (or is that more)? BTW: The N75 has evidently been available SIM unlocked in the US, or at least for shipment to the US for almost a month. I e-mailed one distributor (Russsian) supposedly carrying it (Glamour Digital at www.glamourdigital.net) asking if it was available SIM unlocked for immediate shipment at their advertised $518 price. Their February 19 reply to me ... Yes it is. [Customers Support Glamour Digital] I have no idea how credible this outfit is. Sprint is developing a large scale advanced wireless broadband network designed to mobilize the Internet, bring wireless innovation to devices and new multimedia mobile applications to customers. The company plans initial service launches in several markets by yearend 2007 and expects to make commercial service available in a number of markets by April 2008, ultimately reaching 100 million people across the country by yearend 2008.
