First off, she didn't say she travelled abroad in the past five years. Second, the first question to her was whether she was covert in the sense that she was covered by the statute. After a little dancing around, she failed to answer that question affirmatively.

She was not covert at the time of the leaking, yet her employment was classified (as it is with all CIA employees).
