My skiing days were over at the age of 18. Like so many Colorado natives I grew up with, I have NO interest in skiing, never really did. I even lived and handled most of the advertising for the Purgatory Ski Area north of Durango when it was brand new. Never put on a pair of skis the whole time. I did spend a number of summers on water skis, however. My folks had lake front property on Shadow Mountain Lake. But, that's only about a 100 day summer season and the lake gets hard. ggg
