" Democrats smell blood in the water,..." The Hispanics are NOT going to like it that the Dems tossed Gonzales to the wolves.

I don't really understand the ruckus. Or is is just the Dems want to score political points? (They think)

Do the Dems in charge of Congress think there SHOULDN'T have been any discussion ? They are the VERY ones who are always saying "there is no plan".....

I really do hope some enterprising journalists have been spending some real time at the National Archives....I'd like to see how one Administration fired 93 US Attorneys, and the next Adm tries to fire 8.....

It truly would be nice to have Bush have some backbone here and let Congress have their hearings....and hit them right between the eyes with the reasons to fire 8 and not all of them.

This doesn't mean I'm a fan of Gonzales, either. HamHandedness isn't one of the skillsets needed for the job....

Gonzales, whose support among GOP lawmakers on Capitol Hill has collapsed

Did ANYONE ever say anything in his defense?

Instead of the Stupid Party we should call the GOP the Spineless Party. Where is the RNC on this? One thing you can say about the Dems is they stick up for each other...
