Eric: I did not even read your post before replying. It just is ridiculous that QCOM is suing NOK on GSM patents. It is just self evident (everybody knowledgeable knows it) that what comes to GSM, Q is definitely a follower, and Nokia has more IPR in there (order of magnitude is something about 100 x). And you can not make WCDMA without GSM.

Definitely nothing against you. Of course not. And I actually believe/feel that Nokia's case is not really strong in this specific case. But I strongly believe that Q does not really own the 3G technology (I myself, and quite many others I know, have spent a lot of effort, actually too long hours to develop it).

Well, after I cooled down, my whole point is that the whole industry is maturing. These ongoing lawsuits probably may or may not decide what is the best company to own. But don't expect any of them to be multibagger any more.

Disclaimer: I own a small part of QCOM, but no NOK. But I don't believe either of them is going to make me any richer anymore.
