Bush went to iraq to stop saddam from dumping cheap oil on the market. Now the Jewish (AIPAC) dudes keep us there. And the contractors making 75-100 bucks an hour doing whatever they do. And all the other guys on the gravy train. any more questions?

I agree. But what?

I think you're wrong. Bush really believed all the seasoned, older hands that told him it would be a cakewalk and being a "war President" would give him overwhelming approval. That sucked him in.

But it wasn't a cakewalk, the approval has turned, and now his massive ego and hubris won't let him get out. Just like Lyndon Johnson and Vietnam. Johnson wasn't an idiot either. Ego and hubris can make any man into an idiot.

JF, > There has to be more to it... nobody could be that much of an idiot.

You're trying to find conspiracies where there are none.

Bob Woodward's State of Denial isn't enough for you?
