What I did last year was give the person the new stock
and adjusted the buy price for the acquisition terms.

Best example:
zincman picked eurozinc at 1.28
lundin bought eurozinc for .0952 shares

so I gave him lundin with a basis of 13.445 (1.28/.0952)

There were 7 changes last year, mostly name changes,
but also a 20:1 reverse split and another merger
