Are you a lawyer ? Rather than argue the issue, you want to argue the process. Canada and the US have essentially identical infant mortality guidelines, but you knew that. The fact that North Korea may do it differently is not relevant to the comparison of the Canadian and US healthcare systems. The 7/1000 mortality rate of the US compared to the 5/1000 rate of Canada (and 4/1000 rate of Finland and Sweden) relates not to the quality of the doctors but to the fact that the poor in the US do not have the same access to care as the rich. You may find that fact to be perfectly acceptable, and give the argument that the poor in the US do not have the same access to Gucci handbags as the rich, either.
