Steve -

Bush has amazing chutzpah.

"If the Democrats truly do want to move forward and find the right information, they ought to accept what I proposed," Bush said. "If scoring political points is the desire, then the rejection of this reasonable proposal will really be evident for the American people to see."

He also said, "there is no indication that anybody did anything improper."

If nobody did anything improper, then why should anyone be afraid to testify publicly under oath? In fact, if nothing improper was done, would it not be better to let the American people see the testimony publicly, so that they could see how the Democrats were persecuting loyal public servants who did nothing wrong?

How stupid does he think Americans are? I find it hard to believe that anybody who doesn't work for Fox News is going to buy this line of crap. Well, except for a few people on some other forums here on SI.
