He believes there are a lot of ways to solve the problems facing the country. He said he wants all people in the country to have health care coverage within his first term as president. He wants to invest more in early education programs for children and also raise teacher pay. Ensuring that veterans return from the war and are respected and have job opportunities is another area he will focus on. He'll have to turn the current system completely around to accomplish this. Does he say how he plans to implement universal healthcare? These days, relative to the Vietnam war, veterans are respected by the populace. Bush gives lip service while slashing programs for veterans.

"He said he wants all people in the country to have health care coverage within his first term as president." Bzzzzzzt. Wrong. This does nothing to address COSTS which are set to bankrupt us. He needs to: 1. think about the actual problem, not the easy sound bite. 2. have the courage to look at how broken the system itself is and provide an immediate solution. How would it be if he said: let's do single payer the day after I become President. I challenge Congress to deny any American full HEALTH CARE. He could have major corporations, small businesses, doctors standing behind him as he said it. It would be thrilling. Right now, he's just playing patty cake. I don't want to elect Obama because he would be the first black Prez. I want to elect someone who will solve problems immediately and not create new ones just for kicks. I want to hire a competent, honest employee not an interesting personality.
