OT - Nothing new there - my father was misdiagnosed many years ago only to find out later that he had colon cancer he past away several years ago after years of suffering.

My mother was also misdiagnosed and she went to unnecessary surgery which did not went well and suffers today. More so the family doctor failed to read correctly her thyroid hormones gave her the wrong medication for years until she collapsed hospitalized and now with a host of illnesses and huge bill of medication

Malpractice - Oh well it works for young people not for the elderly difficult to prove in court the cases as the assumption is that elderly ARE ILL
