Behind closed doors seems like a reasonable stipulation, but why not under oath?

You might want to ask Scooter Libby about that one. I suspect he might have some interesting views to relate.

The Dems are after a "Show trial" where they and the media can pick apart what is said. Under oath leaves them open to "perjury" charges even when there is no perjury. Remember, everything the Admin did was legal. It's all about appearances.
