Excellent post. But I must say I do find it refreshing that we won't be force fed months of "controlled message" by the Madison Ave campaign staffs.

I suspect things will sort themselves out. SI is a micro of the larger world. Within a short time the nut cases get identified and placed on ignore. Much the same will happen with the video sites. All sorts of stuff will be posted, but after the novelty wears off and the self-policing element kicks in the whacko stuff will be pretty much identified for what it is and ignored.

I see these thing as being much the same as political cartoons. Sioux puts together photos and captions, much the same thing except it's a video rather than a photo.

Whatever "criticism" he faces here, he'll get a lot more of as a viable candidate.

In fact, we could have foreign individuals or even entities or even governments placing hit pieces, lies, distortions out there and occupy candidates in full time damage control. Oh, yes.
