Drink, out of control, is behind so much tragedy. I just learned yesterday of a friend I worked with, in fact trained her for my job when I retired, is on a 30 day sick leave to dry out. Apparently she was leaving for lunch and coming back smashed. The company is paying her while she's off. Prior to sending her home she was responsible for 2 incidences that cost the company over $21k in losses and mistakes. I'm praying she can get a handle on it. She's a single mom with a 12 year old "special" son.
