My oldest grandson just returned from several weeks at Mayo off and on. At any rate a guy came by with a Great Dane to brighten up the kids day. It was 46" tall at the front shoulder, weighed 195lbs and the guy said when standing on his rear feet his head was just about 7 1/2 foot tall. Unreal. He told the dog to sit down and it went over to Michael's bed and sat his butt on the bed. Quite the beast.

Edit: Everything is fine now by the way.

It is very funny, she just loves those little hairy dogs that seem to be everywhere. Lies on the ground so they can sniff her nose..... I never think of her as being anything other than normal. I often see dogs coming and worry if they are vicious, cause they might hurt her. And they are graceful enough that you never realise how heavy they are until you try to move her of course..... She has been attack by a pug and a bull terrier, she couldn't find the pug who had her by the loose skin on her throat. She stood on the bull terrier's head till he calmed down. Only took one paw to keep his head in the dirt...... very protective of the kids when they are here. You wouldn't want to be a stranger and have one of her kids scream.
