MOst people don't know, at least from my experience, that insurance companies provide patient advocates, who actually do help the patients. So then they're more on the side of the payee. Anyway, the system is out of control. I see these new, luxe cancer centers pop up, and those docs are making a killing. It seems to me it's more lucrative to keep treating patients with crap that doesn't work than to find a cure. So many things are wrong with the current system and the pharmas and insurance companies will be hard to beat.
