We still have the industrial capacity to pull back from NAFTA and build at home. The jobs have been wiped out but the plants have not. So we'd resume building here while at the same time devaluing our currency so as to drive countries like China into a depression. Let 'em hate us. They can have every square inch of land on the globe - cross our borders or screw with us and we'll end humanity. Say it - and mean it

I'm part of a group called Promise Keepers. Its a religious based mens group that serves as a guide to living a moral and ethical life. You can look it up on the web. Keeping a promise extends far past a marriage. If I were president and I said we'd do this - we'd do just that - its a promise. Humans are motivated by 2 things (normally) love and fear. I'd keep my promises around the globe and after a couple displays of keeping my word countries would be motivated to negotiate out of fear because they'd know I meant business

If we stop buying from China then all those 100s of millions of Chineses who moved from the farms to the cities would be out of work and hungry. The leaders there don't want 100 million pissed off hungry Chinese with nothing to do. Because they will find something to do and it will involve their leaders.
