Shifty republican political trick may come. Cheney is sick. Cant travel due to blood clots. He resigns and Bush picks ___________? for Veep. Wouldnt be Condie because she couldnt leverage veep for a successful presidential run imo. If Bush wants to give a gift to the party he would seek out someone who could win in 08 especially if he had the veep incumbency. I do believe that there is a fair chance that cheney will resign due to legit health concerns. Who will get the nod if that happens? McCain, Rudy, Mitt or an annointed PC conservative, yet unknown to us.
