I agree... another whacky issue is this so called global warming thing... we should only hope we have global warning, we should be so fortunate, it would be the best thing for us... that's right, global warming, commonly referred to as "the sky is falling syndrome," is actually good for us...

Here's why: If the ice caps are melting, this would be very good news, we certainly don't need all that ice, it's only in the way of shipping, look what it did to the Titanic... besides, do you realize how much better we would be if we have shipping lanes going directly from Australia to South Africa and South America? This represents a huge savings for the shipping business itself and for all of us, and a significant savings in fuel consumption... the whales would have more room to roam, and Greenland could then grow crops to feed their hungry hoard... and you know, I bet there's oil under all that wasted ice, so why should we leave it to all those caribou, they can't use the oil, they certainly can't drink it... and if the oceans were to rise a few hundred feet, then so what? Can you imagine how much more oceanfront property we would have? Those homeowners would love the view and wish it had happened earlier... anyhow, that's my story and I'm sticking to it...

I do love polar bears, but to think the poor bears are all floating away on an ice cube, is slightly kookoo.
