ironic isn't it? the lowly sub-prime market big enough to affect overall lending environment

you know the old saying (paraphrasing now)

'you owe the bank $100K and default, it's your problem, you owe the bank $1M and you default, it's the bank's problem'

(multiply the numbers of toxic loans that are beginning to unravel)
