I would like to see the proof of Clinton's having done this for I am really tired of all the charges that were brought against this man. The investigations that went on and on by Ken Starr and the vituperative things that were said about him his full term in office.

Unfortunately he lived up to the one about being a womanizer but all the other allegations proved to be without merit.

Now, Bush has not had one investigation. He has been able to eek by without anyone having a committee to investigate him or his administration except for Libby.. Now, I might be incorrect on this..

A lot of what is mentioned on these boards and in blogs is not factual and one also has to look at the sources. So, if someone can really prove that in the Clinton Administration all these firings took place I would be interested.

Whats unusual about this one is not that there are political hirings and firings with each admin. After all there is a place for patronage in the system although for the judiciary i, like you, think it should be kept at a minimal.
What happened here is that republicans fired other republicans and that somehow upsets the shumers of the world who dont care at all when new admins clean house. It was Karl Rove narrowing the context from republicans to Bushies that did it---bingo--everything bush does is bad, neocons, the war, brownie, katrina etc. So the dems felt empowered to yelp and once again at the end of this will have shot themselves in the foot in this anti-bush feeding frenzy. 60 days into the dem congress and apparently they have already run out of issues and with no legislation to show for it. Thats what the american people will conclude from all of this. Bush hatred will not automatically be inherited by the next republican nominee, not with likes of chuck shumer, dingle, harry reid, and pelosi having hissy fits over everything. I like the ad they ran that compared this to watergate. Its hysterical in both senses of the word. This is akin to tiger getting on a par 5 in 2 and then 5 putting.
