Okay, admittedly I made up a story about my supernatural powers and so on, but I was surprised such flim flam was taken seriously. 1 April must be a lot of fun in ElM's house. ElM still, even while discussing Nazis, Fascists and how they appealed to people, adopts the very same philosophy that leads to support for "strong men", which is a very cynical use of the word 'strong', as I have contempt for 'strong' men in most of their guises, which almost invariably means 'self-centred thug'. He believes his "strong hand" is what people want. <Democracy may be good. But it is not good enough. and the thread has been praised several times for holding civil discussions. I have always found it's much better to discuss things with people and they invariably are reasonable. I think I had started a couple of posts which I could go back and edit and having started them, I was able to leave them open for a while after the ban was done. But I couldn't start a new post. I hadn't seen ElM's post asking for people to stop the Israel stuff when I was writing my post which got me banned. I was puzzled as to why I was banned and it was only later, when reading through, catching up with posts, that I found ElM's post warning everyone to stop it. Mqurice
