Great read. Real inflation has been 7% for the last nine years? Mish better get strapped into his seat when he hears that.

So the fed must keep real inflation over 5% and the 10 year treasury under 5% which makes perfect sense to me.

But some say they have no control of the long end (something the scholars always told me)... others say we are in deflation<g>
