Before you guys trade Schaub I would sit down and have a come to Jesus talk with Vick. That guy either needs to play the game the way a QUARTERBACK should or he'd be the one I'd trade. I have watched this happen so often.

I'm going to say something that people can call racist if they want but it isn't

So many of the black QB's have been down the same track and I think I know why. It has NOTHING to do with skin color! I has everything to do with being a superior breed of athlete. These guys like McNabb, Vick, Culpepper Etc. really have it all. They can throw like a QB and run like a RB. What happens so often is they use their legs early in their careers and they get hurt. Vick makes 1 read and runs. In college it works because they're men amongst boys. But in the NFL these guys are playing with the best of the best. It seems like only after they get hurt running they finally settle down and play the QB position as it has to be played. It has to be played a certain way for a couple reasons. First of all - the play must be repeatable *most* of the time. I understand breakdowns happen on certain plays and I can live with that if a QB has to run. But 57 yard scrambles for a TD (like Vick does sometimes) can't be repeated and it shows in his production. Second - He needs to stay within his set plays and go through his progressions on pass plays. Then and only then will he be a QB that can be depended on. It will show in the offense as well - your receivers will actually start putting up numbers. All the guys I mentioned above are good passers - I've watched them play and I know they can pass. McNabb was MUCH better this year than say 3 years ago. He's playing QB not RB and it shows. Culpepper had some good passing years. After the knee injury people think he's done - and maybe he will be. But for my money? I'd bring him in on the cheap because now that he can't run like he did he's going to play QB and the upside to that has already been seen by him. When Warren Moon played he didn't run much. I know he didn't look great in his older years but that guy was a GREAT PASSER! McNabb looked MVP early in the year this year and he doesn't run as much as he used to. Vick has a canon for an arm but his legs aren't messed up enough. When he blows a knee - is out for 18 months and can no longer run like a deer - MAYBE he'll become a QB. Mora was right - Vick is a coach killer. If I ran the Falcons -Schaub wouldn't be on the trading block - Vick would. The Raiders would take him in a minute and pay a high draft pick. The compensation for Schaub looks interesting but I see some Jake Delhomme in Schaub
