You're fortunate your mold is confined to a relatively small area. I really would urge anyone with a large (read "expensive") area of mold to look into the fairly new concept of the Mold Bomb. It worked in just a day for our Sunday School building, it clears by itself and you can use the facility the next day. Plus, it's affordable and effective.

In a small area, it should be fine, but ours was in our duct work and who knows where else because of the water and humidity after Ivan...We went without air conditioning, (electricity) for three months, so we kept the "Damp Rid" in our unit so the furniture wouldn't be eaten up with mold.

Here in Atlanta, many people have a terrible problem with mold in their basements.
