For gold fans - move to Egypt - new mines with proven reserves of 8 million ounces opened recently. Will contribute about 12% of Egypt GDP.

The find is in one mountain which is part of a 140 Km stretch of hills and mountains who indicate to have gold.

And many were thinking that only confetti money is printed endlessly - now may be gold finds are, ... may be "endlessly" …. well not exactly like confetti money <GG>

Geologists and engineers in Egypt are searching for gold using a three-thousand-year-old map.

It is believed to have been drawn by King Seti the first -- the father of the Pharaoh Rameses.

Drawn on papyrus, the map was found more than a hundred years ago and shows an ancient diagram of mine tunnels used during Seti's reign.

The leader of the exploration team said in a BBC interview that it had identified about ten mines where gold might be found.
