Today I weep for America. Our House of Representives, often called THE PEOPLES HOUSE, has shown that it is filled with too many political HACKS whose votes can be bought for 13 coins of silver. When I think of how many of my friends, relatives died, and so many others injured for OUR COUNTRY and then see that these people, who never have given ANYTHING to this country, only TAKEN AND TAKEN. Now, for 13 pieces of silver sold their vote to weaken and demoralize our troops. President Bush may veto the bill or the Senate may refuse to go along, BUT the DAMAGE IS DONE. The whole world now knows that our House CAN BE BOUGHT and WAS BOUGHT. I think it was no accident Iran seized those british sailors and marines even though we have a powerful fleet nearby, they now believe, and SADLY LIKELY RIGHTLY SO that we are a CORRUPT NATION lacking in backbone at the very highest levels of government. I will NEVER EVER vote for anyone who voted yes on that bill to DENUDE our armed services and EMBARASS OUR NATION. jdn
