Paarl, far be for me to defend Cramer, but his perspective is that of making a profit. In that sense, he think there's no point in AMD stick around in the business anymore. AMD isn't a not-for-profit organization and shouldn't be.

Now having said that, here is what Cramer was saying JUST OVER THREE MONTHS AGO:

So AMD is a socially useful enterprise that should be funded by the public, so that it can make and sell processors regardless of profit. I suppose we should now extend the paradigm to graphics cards.
