BD - if BRCM succeeds in getting the chip and handsets prevented from being imported it will bring Qs business to its knees. That is of course BRCMs purpose and so far, they seem to be winning on all fronts. The damage to the stock price would be massive.

The question is what is the Q with all its R&D power doing about this.

Interesting that there is no mention of FRAND here. No just a naked attempt to destroy the Q's entire business over one relatively unimportant patent that isn't apparently even necessary to the running of the system.

What a mess. Yet again. What the f--k are they doing at Q HQ. Have they gone mad?
