No true American can support an illegal war. The Constitution is very clear about how this nation can be set to war. Wars prosecuted without the declaration of war by the Congress are by definition unconstitutional. If something is unconstitutional then it's illegal, right?

This of course is not the only definition of illegal with which we as Americans are bound. We are also signatory to the Geneva Convention, which further governs our conduct in the use of military force.

How soon you forget the responsibilities of being a free American when you hear the lies amid the sound of jack boots in the streets!

Actually Bush's occupation is not a war. It's a stupid dishonest oil-mad president sending our troops into the middle of a exploding civil war, then ordering them to stay there.

We may be at war in some ways, but many of our "enemies" are the exact same people Bush promised to "liberate". We're being attacked by both sides and all sides. And our troops have little idea who are the bad guys and who are not. It's a FUBAR quagmire and a really nasty place to put our troops.

Also, what Bush is doing is not The War On Terror. Though AL Qaida has been lured into Iraq, there were no terrorists groups operating out of Iraq before Bush blundered in. And the CIA confirms Bush's debacle has created far more terrorists than we have managed to destroy. Plus Bin Laden and his gang have regrouped and are gaining strength, and Iran is now lorded over by hostile enemies whereas before Bush's blunder Iran was moderating and moving toward our side.
