Share price will improve when AMD accepts that they should make and sell only the products where they have a reasonable margin ?

AMD's managers were lying when they said they maintain a goal of gross margin at 52% to 58%. Their actions are not in that direction at all. Their apparent goal is to take the processer business to a low margin status, and collect a salary instead of make profit. That is one reason why they will try to raise the next $billion from loans instead of shares. With what face can they say AMD is an "investment" in the classic sense ? AMD is now just an on-going concern that is able to pay salaries, but generates no profit. It maintains worker jobs, but does nothing for shareholders.

And apparently that has been its mode of operation for its entire history.
